Physical Therapist/PTA:
Administer assessments, plan and implement programs, and conduct treatment through direct or consultative services. Become a critical team member working with children
with deficits in occupational therapy. Responsible to productivity affecting the budget/profit of said company. Demonstrate leadership, initiative and positive attitude with flexibility in their job duties. Provide measures to support the mission of the organization.
Occupational Therapist/OTA:
Administer assessments, plan and implement programs, and conduct treatment through direct or consultative services. Become a critical team member working with children with deficits in occupational therapy. Be accountable for productivity, affecting the ability of the company to grow and continue to provide high quality services. Demonstrate leadership, initiative and positive attitude with flexibility in their job duties. Provide measures to support the mission of the organization.
1. Conduct occupational therapy assessments and re-assessments and make appropriate recommendations, develop and implement treatment as indicated.
2. Plan and provide home programs to clients when necessary.
3. Maintain records of professional information on each client for whom the OT is responsible within acceptable time frame. All daily notes should be completed within 24 hours, and progress notes or re-evaluation should be completed prior to next therapy appointment. All evaluations and discharge summaries should be completed within 5 business days.
4. Formulate appropriate goals and objectives per individual client’s and family’s needs.
5. Complete and submit billing forms within 24 hours of client’s scheduled appointment.
6. Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with other members of our staff.
7. Read and respond to email daily to promote communication.
8. Promote and support productivity to fulfill the budgetary needs of our company and facility.
9. Promote teamwork and a positive workplace environment; demonstrate leadership, initiative, and good attendance.
10. Promote and support good customer service with all customers.
11. Participate in outreach to the public, physicians and medical community.
12. Participate in training and supervision of clinical education programs for occupational therapy students.
13. Participate in professional organizations, attend seminars, conference or workshops and remain current with literature and technology related to occupational therapy services.
14. Participate and encourage ideas to enhance new client referrals, including marketing of our services as needed.
15. Follow AOTA code of ethics and all Pediatric Therapy Center of Wichita policies and procedures.
16. Support team values of respect, integrity, teamwork, fun, efficiency, and services.
17. Demonstrates professional support to all co-workers and supports organization’s philosophy.
18. Accepts duties as assigned.
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients' physical abilities, movement patterns, and developmental milestones.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion.
3. Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and play-based interventions.
4. Educate parents and caregivers on treatment plans, at-home exercises, and strategies to support their child's progress.
5. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
6. Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
7. Document patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in compliance with clinic and state regulations.
8. Maintain records of professional information on each client for whom the PT is responsible within an acceptable time frame. 15. Participate in professional organizations, attend seminars, conference or workshops and remain current with literature and technology related to physical therapy services.
16. Stay current with evidence-based practices, attend professional development opportunities, and maintain licensure requirements.
17. Participate and encourage ideas to enhance new client referrals, including marketing of our services as needed.
18. Follow APTA code of ethics and all Pediatric Therapy Center of Wichita policies and procedures.

21. Accepts duties as assigned.
1. Minimum of a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy/ Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Current, valid license in the state of Kansas.
3. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
4. Knowledge of pediatric development, physical therapy techniques, and evidence-based practices.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
6. Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to working with pediatric patients.
7. Ability to adapt to the needs of each individual child and provide a fun, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
8. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
10. Be able to utilize therapeutic computer application for billing and documentation.
11. Maintain CEU requirements as identified by KSBOHA.
